the Guinness Book of Records and Guinness World Records will (of
course) know
that other world record publications are available. The current owners of
Guinness World Records - the Jim Pattison Group - also publishes "Ripley's
Believe It or Not!", and other publishers have produced record-related
books over the years.
This section
of our web-site will feature some of these alternative record books and related
items. Other parts of our site have details of interesting record books, such as "The
Book of Amazing Facts" from 1950; we cannot pretend to offer
