French Editions
The first edition of the Guinness Book of Records published for the French market (by Libraire Hachette of Paris) was entitled "Le Livre des Extrêmes". The French editions were later called "Le Livre des Records" (the second edition in 1975), "Le Livre Guinness des Records" (1981), "Le Guinness des Records" (1995), "Guinness des Records" (1996) and finally "Le Mondial des Records" in 2007.
